SPCC WARNING Sign
Oil storage containers, oil transfer areas, secondary containment structures and other oil-handling equipment are regulated under the SPCC Rule (40 CFR 112). Employees and contractors who work with this equipment or in these areas need to understand what the SPCC rule means to their work activities. They must be trained on SPCC before working with this equipment. SPCC WARNING signs posted on or near SPCC-regulated equipment make sure that untrained persons do not unknowingly violate the Rule.

SPCC WARNING signs are made of black on orange ‘peel-and-stick’ outdoor vinyl. They can be placed on bulk tanks, on tote tanks, in portable container storage areas, on secondary containment devices, near drain valves, on oil-filled operating equipment, on oil-filled electrical equipment and other equipment. The signs come in two sizes. Large signs are 18” long by 12” high and small signs are 12” long by 8” high.
